Silent Suffering

undefined

She waits in silence, for the one who knows her, Endlessly waiting, it seems like for ever, Tears, shed like rain drops, have left trails like rivers, Right down her smooth skin, as she sits and shivers, Crossed her heart which will not die,  Regardless of the ones that have passed her by, She moves in mystery, just like a phantom unseen, Wondering what it’s like to be in love’s warm gleam, Lonely even when not alone, Silently screaming to be shown, The love she wants to be returned,   Because it’s what she has tirelessly earned, But too often been denied, and this is what she cried, “Take me now, some where far from this place, Show me the things, that others have erased, Love me like I do not love myself, that’s all I crave that is my wealth, Through all the sorrows that I’ve been through, Let me find my place in you.”
